This was so much fun, and I really put my all into this. XD I redid it twice and had to toss out four bad sketches before I said, "I'm gonna run out of time if I don't just get going and hope for the best. ><" And it ended up much better than I'd hoped.
I think I managed to get the beauty aspect across instead of the 'creep' factor that always seems to seep into my digital paintings, so hopefully things are good. XD
Description of my AU:
Jase Dubois moved to Japan after a few years of traveling, taken with the peaceful, quiet discipline of the culture. In 1878, he became an apprentice as a male geisha, beginning to learn the shamisen, as well as how to sing, and after studying for a few more years, he became a mentor himself, trained with all the discipline and skill his master had taught him.
...but he probably wasn't a very good master because, let's face it, he's a total softie.
XD So yus. Singing, shamisen-playing male-geisha Jase is my AU. Hope you like it, Stickie~!
